Author description

Elena Makhonko was born in Leningrad/St Petersburg and learned to prepare Russian food at home. She has written for magazines and has published several books about food. Ewa Michalik works at Patio Restaurant, one of the most successful Polish restaurants in London, England. She regularly broadcasts on BBC radio, talking about Eastern cooking.
