The dogs of the Tawatawa 1st XV rugby team are ready to play!

The sprightly crew make their way down to the field with plenty of barking and wagging of tails. Into position, the whistle is blown, and they're off! After tackles and dodges, roly-polies and lineouts, and a cheeky dip in the creek at half-time, there will be some tired and muddy dogs by the time the match is done.

Set in the popular off-leash dog exercise area of Tawatawa Reserve, Ōwhiro Bay, on Wellington's South Coast.
