The Brave Little Grork

Author(s): Kathryn Cave

Teens | No Category

This is a new edition of a gently reassuring picture book by Cave and Maland about a small creature's fears and worries. The creature in question is the grork. He's shy and easily frightened, especially when it comes to turples. One sunny day, he and his best friend the greep set out for a picnic. On the way, the grork does his very best to be like the greep and think brave thoughts, but he sees turples everywhere. Before long a tree creaks and he dashes off in panic into a deep, dark wood. What's that coming? Is it a turple? Fear not: by the end of the trip, the greep and the grork have found each other again and are on their way home, singing. Hooray for the brave little grork!
